Explore The Okavango

‘Explore the Okavango’ is a simulated adventure which takes participants into the heart of the spectacular Okavango river system in Africa. It is a program that pushes individuals and teams outside their comfort zone and helps leading organizations to:

• Lead and succeed in a volatile, uncertain, complex and highly dynamic environment

‘Explore the Okavango’ puts participants in the place of adventurers as they make decisions on how to navigate a 400km stretch of the challenging and dynamic Okavango river system in northern Botswana.

During a simulation, organizational teams are challenged with the real life scenarios that the adventurers faced whilst exploring the Okavango Delta in kayaks and small boats. These scenarios, combined with spectacular footage, personal stories and expert facilitation, provide powerful learning experiences as teams get to choose their own adventure.

As an African safari guide who called the Okavango Delta home for close to 8 years, as well as an experienced business facilitator, Richard Field is uniquely qualified to facilitate this program. His passion for the environment and for learning shines through in every step.
